These terms govern your use of the Terravist app and platform. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Terravist.
Terravist is a marketplace that connects customers who need field translation, interpretation, factory-visit, or related on-the-ground services with independent translators, interpreters, consultants, and visa agencies. Terravist is a platform, not a party to the underlying service arrangement between a customer and a translator/agency — we don't employ translators, and we don't guarantee the outcome of any specific job.
If you use Terravist as a translator, interpreter, consultant, or agency, you do so as an independent contractor. You are not an employee, agent, or representative of Terravist, and Terravist is not responsible for your tax, insurance, visa, or labor-law obligations arising from work you take on through the platform.
Certain actions on Terravist (such as unlocking contact details) use an in-app token balance. Tokens are platform credits, not currency, a deposit, or a payment instrument, and have no cash value outside the platform. Token transactions are recorded and visible in your wallet. Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase or grant, tokens are non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of documents, photos, and videos you upload (CVs, certificates, intro videos, job photos), but you grant Terravist the right to store and display them within the platform as needed to provide the service — for example, showing your intro video to a customer considering your profile. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.
If a job goes wrong, the in-app dispute process is the first step — either side can open a dispute, and Terravist may review the checklist, messages, and other job records to help resolve it. Opening a dispute doesn't guarantee a particular outcome; Terravist's role is to mediate based on the platform's own records and policies, not to act as a court.
We may suspend or deactivate an account that violates these terms, poses a safety risk to other users, or is inactive for an extended period. You can deactivate your own account at any time from Account settings.
Terravist provides the platform "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for the conduct of other users, the quality of work performed off-platform, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Terravist.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be flagged in-app, and continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence. Questions? Contact us at legal@terravist.app.
